Realestate.com: Luxury Rainbow Bay apartment project hits the market

Rainbow Bay, on the southern end of Coolangatta, is well known for its summery lifestyle and great beaches. But with property in this idyllic Gold Coast pocket tightly held, the opportunity to snap up a beach home is rare.

That is set to change with our latest residential offering, Rockpool Rainbow Bay, hitting the market. Located at 154-156 Marine Parade, the luxury beachfront tower is already turning heads.

Cameron Kusher, executive manager, REA Group, expects that Rockpool Rainbow Bay will garner plenty of interest from beach-loving buyers.

“Clearly this project is targeted more at the owner-occupied segment of the market,” Kusher says.

“A lot of people want to live in the area. Given what we’ve seen over the last year with people being able to work from home more, it’s the kind of thing that there’s going to be a lot of interest in.”

BUILDING BY THE BAY

“We had feedback from the local agents that many buyers were amalgamating smaller apartments to create one large beach house,” Adsett says. “Existing stock and new developments were simply not suitable for market demand.”

At the heart of the home is a large open kitchen, with a sizeable island bench, while living areas open up to a large balcony using fold away doors creating a much larger and seamless outdoor-indoor entertaining space.

“Residences are designed to be a maximum of two apartments per floor and we have incorporated a central entry courtyard into every sky home,” Adsett says.

“The courtyard creates separation in how we’ve laid out the dwellings, which in turn creates privacy with multiple living spaces. This dynamic means a diverse family group can live together.

“People can use it as a beach house, but due to the unique layout and sheer size of the sky home, they also have the ability to permanently reside there.”
