Moffat Beach has become a popular area for tourists and Sunshine Coast residents, residing only 5 minutes from Caloundra CBD and popular Kings Beach. Protected from the winds by Moffat Headland and bordering with Tooway Creek, the location is popular with young families, enjoying the peaceful and sheltered ocean and waterways. Although relatively small compared to the surrounding beaches and towns, Moffat Beach is renowned for its Ma & Pa Bendall surf competition. Rainbow Bay Is unique to the Gold Coast being the only north facing beach in the region. The area is best known for having world class breaks on its doorstep including the famous Snapper Rocks, Duranbah Beach, Kirra and Greenmount. With the local thrills comes the calm of the iconic rockpools in the area. The gentle pools in the foreshore are sheltered, creating the perfect swimming area for those wanting to relax or spend time with the family. The regions proximity to amenities makes it an easy travel destination – with quick access to nearby Coollangatta airport, Pacific Motorway and Tweed Heads CBD. The town is rapidly expanding and gaining popularity, while still maintaining its small-town coastal vibe making it an enviable place to reside.

NOOSA, SUNSHINE COAST

Noosa’s calm waters, surfing culture, natural surroundings and lively Hastings Street are what attracts tourists and locals to fall in love with the popular Sunshine Coast beachside location. Main beach is Noosa’s only north facing beach and is appreciated for its gentle waves providing safe swimming spots for families. Local learn-to-surf schools commonly frequent the area, which is known on world surfing circuits. One of the area’s major surfing contests is the Noosa Festival of Surfing, attracting longboarders from all over the world. Nearby Noosa National Park has various walking tracks through lush bushland with access to secluded beaches, lookouts, and the scenic fairy pools.
